Historical background.

Throughout the years I got interested in sailing. I started to sail in 1974 and later on I took up a Helmaman's course and also one of yacht skipper. I eventually directed many tours in the Argentinean Delta, where you can find hostels and historical restaurants with a great variety of dishes.

To have a perfect Sailing Day, Now and Here Sailing Guide gives you the key, taking into account three main areas:

What you enjoy:

The sail is satisfactorily propelled by the winds, being a great variety of same according to the season. You can enjoy a wonderful day as from very early in the morning.
You should always follow the weather forecast, for that reason you should plan your Sailing Day in advance, follow the crew instructions as to how to act in the craft, being the same completely different from a Cruise. You should also wear the life jacket as well as the suitable rubber sport footwear. Obviously, smoking is prohibited, being highly dangerous on board. Until you sail, you can't say what you feel.

The place:

We will select and reserve the most appropriate place taking into
account the following items:

  • Couple of hours or whole day excursions.
  • To sail across La Plata River.
  • To sail in the Delta.
  • Or to appreciate that the Delta has a wideness and opening to the     Ocean through its miles, but there are also beautiful intermediate     sites in the Uruguayan coast such as Carmelo, Colonia, Riachuelo,     Barra San Juan and beyond those places, Punta del Este. These     places are worth visiting either by ship or by plane.

Transport:

Now and Here Sailing Guide also organises your transport from the moment you get to the hotel as well as the shuttle to the hotel or to the port or from the port to the hotel.
